Park Bom, a member of the iconic group 2NE1, has announced the release of her new song, creating a buzz among fans.
On the 25th, Park Bom took to her Instagram to share the exciting news, writing: “‘Heaven’ by Park Bom. A brand new song has dropped. I just gave writing it a try. I personally chose this track with much care and difficulty, so please show it lots of love. I’m absolutely thrilled right now!”
She further captivated her audience by consecutively uploading various versions of the song, including the original track, R&B, rock, a classical rendition featuring cinematic strings, and other film music-inspired arrangements, showcasing her diverse musical range.
Notably, the account ID she used to create and share the song, ‘bomminho012’, garnered significant attention from her followers.
Previously, Park Bom faced considerable controversy since 2024 for uploading posts asserting a romantic relationship with acclaimed actor Lee Min-ho. At the time, her agency clarified the situation, stating, “Park Bom has recently been deeply engrossed in watching the drama ‘The Heirs’ and appears to have developed a strong admiration for the lead actor, Lee Min-ho. This likely prompted her to upload such posts. It was an incident without any particular underlying reason, merely a happening.”
In response to the claims, Lee Min-ho’s agency, MYM Entertainment, also issued a statement, asserting, “Lee Min-ho has no personal acquaintance with Park Bom,” effectively concluding the matter as a misunderstanding. However, Park Bom’s continued references to Lee Min-ho have led to ongoing concerns among her dedicated fanbase.
Last year, Park Bom announced a temporary hiatus from her activities due to health reasons. It has also recently been reported that her exclusive contract with her agency has concluded. The agency explained their decision, stating, “Park Bom has recently been dedicated to her health recovery and well-deserved rest. Our company made this decision respecting the artist’s stability and future career direction, ensuring her well-being.”
