K-pop sensation Zerobaseone (ZB1) is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated second Japanese EP on August 19, their agency WakeOne Entertainment officially announced on Thursday. This marks a significant return for the popular boy group in the Japanese music market.
Titled “回帰LOVE” (Kaiki LOVE), the upcoming Japanese EP will feature three exciting tracks. Fans can look forward to ‘Existence,’ a unique collaboration with a member from the renowned Japanese trio Omoinotake. The release also includes the brand-new track ‘Aphrodite,’ alongside a special Japanese-language rendition of ‘Top 5,’ the hit lead single from Zerobaseone’s recent sixth Korean EP, “Ascend-.”
This August comeback will signify Zerobaseone’s eagerly awaited return to Japan, ten months after their successful special EP “Iconik.” That previous Japanese release notably soared to No. 2 across Oricon’s highly competitive Daily, Weekly, and Weekly Combined Album Rankings, demonstrating the group’s strong presence in the market.
Further building excitement, earlier this month, a captivating documentary video was released, offering fans an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the five members’ dedicated work on “Ascend-.” This sixth Korean EP was a monumental success, selling over half a million copies, while its lead track, ‘Top 5,’ secured the coveted first place on television music charts on two separate occasions.
