K-pop sensation Enhypen is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback, with their new album slated for release in August. A local media report on Thursday first broke the news, which was subsequently confirmed by their agency, Belift Lab. While the August timeline is set, specific details regarding the upcoming project remain under wraps.
This eagerly awaited new music will mark Enhypen’s first release in approximately seven months. Their last offering was the immensely successful seventh EP, “The Sin: Vanish,” which achieved significant global recognition. That extended play notably spent ten consecutive weeks on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, peaking at an impressive No. 2. Furthermore, “The Sin: Vanish” sold over 2 million copies, solidifying its place as the group’s fourth consecutive album to reach this remarkable sales milestone.
The August comeback will also represent Enhypen’s first musical venture since Evan, formerly known as Heeseung, departed from the group. Evan announced his decision to pursue a solo career in March and is reportedly set to launch his debut single next month.
Currently, the six remaining members of Enhypen are captivating audiences worldwide with their “Blood Saga” tour, which is scheduled to resume its leg in Sao Paulo on July 4.
