BTS member V gave a shoutout to the trending ‘Busan Yaho’ phrase, drawing significant attention from fans and the public.
On the 12th, V posted a photo on his Instagram with the caption “Busan Yaho.”
The shared photo featured all members of global sensation BTS. During his time at the Busan concert, V also shared a “mukbang” (eating show) of gukbap (Korean rice soup). He particularly garnered attention by exclaiming “Busan Yaho,” a playful twist on the popular phrase “Geoje Yaho,” which gained viral fame through junior girl group QWER.
The original “Geoje Yaho” trend recently went viral, spearheaded by QWER member Chodan’s distinctive Japanese Gyaru concept. This trend has since propelled QWER’s song to surge on the charts, cementing its widespread popularity.
Meanwhile, BTS held their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN’ at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium in Yeonje-gu, Busan, for two days from the 12th to the 13th. However, the concert scheduled for 7 PM on the 12th was delayed by 75 minutes, leading to considerable fan dissatisfaction.
In response, their agency, HYBE, issued a statement explaining, “We prepared diligently to ensure a meaningful experience for our audience and to avoid any operational oversight. However, a combination of confusion in on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the fan gift distribution queues, and delays in merchandise collection collectively led to the main performance starting late.”
They further added, “We sincerely apologize once again for the significant disappointment and inconvenience caused to all concert-goers who waited for a long time. For the performance on the 13th, we commit to thoroughly reviewing and improving all aspects of on-site operations, including entry and gift distribution, to prevent any recurrence of such chaotic situations.”
