BTS member Jin, from the globally renowned boy group, gave a special shout-out to the rising girl group RIIZE.
The supergroup BTS, featuring members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook, captivated fans with their ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN’ concert. The highly anticipated event took place over two days, on June 12th and 13th, at the iconic Busan Asiad Main Stadium.
During the concert, Jin delighted the audience by exclaiming, “Busan, as expected! Busan, Yahoo!” and showcased the popular ‘Yahoo’ meme, recently trending thanks to RIIZE. He chuckled, adding, “That felt very much like the new generation just now. Seeing our beloved ARMY enjoy it together truly feels like the biggest birthday gift to us.”
Leader RM acknowledged the immense dedication of their fanbase, commenting, “I heard rumors that our ARMY trained their physical endurance specifically for today!” He then gave a thumbs-up, praising the unwavering passion of the fandom.
This momentous event marked BTS’s first full-group performance in Busan in approximately 3 years and 8 months. The group last graced the same venue in October 2022 for their highly successful ‘Yet to Come’ in BUSAN concert, held to support the bid for the 2030 Busan World Expo. This concert held even deeper significance as it coincided perfectly with the group’s highly anticipated debut anniversary on June 13th.
V shared his feelings, stating, “Since today is the final concert, the weather is wonderful, the food is delicious, and our ARMYs look truly beautiful today. Isn’t it our birthday today? As it’s our birthday, let’s happily make eye contact with ARMY and celebrate amongst ourselves…” He then led the celebration of their 13th debut anniversary.
