Hybe Co., the entertainment agency managing global K-pop sensation BTS, has issued a formal apology following a significant delay of over an hour for the opening night of the group’s highly anticipated world tour in Busan. The apology was shared Saturday via their official fandom platform.
In a notice posted on Weverse, the agency stated, “We deeply apologize to all audience members who attended the ‘Arirang’ world tour for the inconvenience caused by the delay in the start of the performance.”
Furthermore, Hybe pledged to significantly enhance overall on-site operations to prevent any similar recurrences during the second Busan concert, scheduled for later the same day.
The “Arirang” world tour officially commenced in Busan on Friday with BTS’s opening performance.
Originally slated for a 7 p.m. start, the concert was postponed by approximately 75 minutes, commencing at 8:15 p.m. This significant delay was attributed to the slow entry process for tens of thousands of dedicated fans.
