K-pop sensation BoyNextDoor’s highly anticipated first studio album, “Home,” has achieved a remarkable milestone, selling over 1 million copies in its debut week, their agency KOZ Entertainment confirmed on Monday.
This achievement makes “Home” the group’s fourth consecutive million-selling release, following the success of their third, fourth, and fifth EPs: “19.99,” “No Genre,” and “The Action.”
Demonstrating their artistic growth, all six members contributed to the songwriting process for the first time, infusing personal experiences and emotions into four tracks on the album.
The successful album also made a significant impact in Japan, debuting at the top of Oricon’s Daily Album Ranking and maintaining the No. 1 spot for an impressive total of four days.
Furthermore, the album’s dynamic main track, “Viral,” quickly climbed to No. 41 on Melon’s Daily Chart, building on its success from topping the iTunes Top Songs Chart in four distinct regions. Its compelling music video further amplified the track’s reach, garnering over 10 million views on YouTube in under three days.
