A captivating behind-the-scenes video featuring BTS member Jimin’s official visit to the Mexican Presidential Palace has been unveiled. BTS’s official YouTube channel, Bangtan TV, released a special video titled ‘BTS Visits Mexico’s National Palace,’ offering a detailed look at their visit on May 7th, Korean Standard Time, following a formal invitation from the Mexican President.
In the video, Jimin, looking dapper in a suit with his signature long blonde hair, was given a comprehensive tour of the historic Presidential Palace. He maintained a composed and respectful demeanor throughout the official engagement.

Ascending to the Presidential Palace balcony, Jimin was visibly awestruck by the sight of over 50,000 enthusiastic fans filling Zócalo Square below. He exclaimed, “Wow, this is insane!” and warmly waved back to the crowd. Continuing the friendly interaction, he then invited President Claudia Sheinbaum to join him for a memorable photograph.
Throughout the visit, Jimin demonstrated remarkable courtesy, accompanying President Claudia Sheinbaum, adjusting his pace to hers, and attentively listening to their conversations. A moment of pure delight came when he spotted a cat residing in the Presidential Palace, smiling brightly and clapping his hands as he said, “Ah! There it is!”
Concluding his visit, Jimin offered a heartfelt “Mucho Gracias” in Spanish as a final greeting. Following their stop in Mexico, BTS continued their journey through Stanford and are currently holding concerts in Las Vegas. After their performance wraps up on the 29th local time, the group is expected to return to Korea for their highly anticipated 12th-anniversary concert in Busan.
