Rising K-pop boy band &Team has achieved a significant career milestone, making their historic debut on the coveted Billboard 200 chart. Their third Japanese EP, “We on Fire,” soared to No. 52 on the latest chart, dated May 30, as confirmed by their agency, YX Labels, on Thursday. This marks the group’s first-ever entry on the prestigious US albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums based on a comprehensive metric of physical sales, digital downloads, and streaming activity.
Beyond the main Billboard 200, &Team’s “We on Fire” demonstrated exceptional strength across various Billboard subcharts. The highly anticipated Japanese EP debuted impressively at No. 2 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the World Albums chart. This represents a substantial leap forward for the group, significantly surpassing the performance of their previous release, “Back to Life,” which previously peaked at No. 13 on Top Album Sales and No. 5 on World Albums.
The explosive momentum generated by “We on Fire” also propelled &Team back to the pinnacle of Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart. The group previously commanded the top spot with their first Korean EP, “Back to Life,” released in October of the prior year, showcasing their consistent growth and rapidly expanding global fanbase.
The “We on Fire” EP encapsulates the nine members’ fiery ambition and unwavering determination to reach even greater heights in their musical journey. Commercially, the album proved to be an instant success, selling over 1.09 million copies on its very first day. This impressive feat solidifies &Team’s position as a consistent hitmaker, marking their third consecutive million-seller, following the success of “Go in Blind” and “Back to Life.”
In addition to their chart-topping success, &Team is actively engaging with their global fanbase through their “2026 &Team Concert Tour ‘Blaze the Way,'” which commenced its Asia leg on May 13. Fans can also look forward to their upcoming performance at the esteemed Weverse Con Festival on June 7, held at the KSPO Dome in Seoul, further cementing their presence in the vibrant K-pop scene.
