Big Hit Music proudly announced Thursday that K-pop group Cortis’s second mini-album has achieved an astounding 100 million streams on Spotify in just 15 days.
The highly anticipated EP, titled “Greengreen,” reached this significant milestone on Tuesday, showcasing remarkable growth by achieving the feat in less than half the time of their debut EP, “Color Outside The Lines,” released last September. This surging popularity is also reflected in the boy group’s impressive over 11 million monthly listeners on the popular streaming platform.
Cortis’s latest impressive effort also made a significant impact on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart, soaring to No. 3. This marks a substantial leap from their debut EP, which commendably peaked at No. 15 on the same main albums chart.
Further cementing their rising star status, the lead track “Redred” captivated audiences, securing the No. 17 spot on The Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart. Domestically, “Redred” proved to be a massive hit, clinching first place on all five major music chart shows. Furthermore, it proudly claimed the top position on Melon’s Daily Singles Chart, standing out as the sole boy group chart-topper apart from K-pop giants BTS’s “Swim.”
