This exciting lineup introduces four new models, notably featuring what Samsung touts as the industry’s first 6K gaming monitor, the highly anticipated Odyssey G6.
Leading this innovation, the 32-inch Odyssey G6 boasts stunning ultra-high 6K resolution, delivering unparalleled visual clarity for gamers. A standout feature is Samsung’s innovative Dual Mode technology, which empowers users to effortlessly switch between immersive 6K and optimized 3K resolutions. This flexibility ensures peak performance and visual fidelity, adapting seamlessly to diverse gameplay scenarios and specific performance requirements.
Further enhancing the 6K monitor range, Samsung also unveiled the 27-inch Odyssey G8 model. This display is engineered for competitive gamers, offering an impressive refresh rate of up to 180Hz in stunning 6K resolution and an even faster up to 360Hz in QHD mode. Among the new OLED models is the versatile Odyssey OLED G8, available in both 27-inch and 32-inch variants. This premium gaming monitor supports crisp 4K resolution combined with blazing-fast refresh rates of up to 240Hz, ensuring fluid and detailed visuals. Added conveniences include 98W USB-C charging for streamlined connectivity and a state-of-the-art glare-free display, meticulously designed to minimize distractions and significantly enhance gaming immersion.
Complementing its OLED siblings, the Odyssey OLED G7 delivers exceptional performance with refresh rates reaching up to 165Hz. Leveraging Samsung’s intelligent Dual Mode technology, this monitor can further push performance to an astounding 330Hz in lower-resolution settings, providing a competitive edge where every frame counts.
Samsung has announced competitive pricing for its innovative new monitors. The 32-inch Odyssey G8 is priced at 1.89 million won (approximately $1,225), with the 27-inch model available for 1.19 million won. For the premium OLED series, the 32-inch Odyssey OLED G8 comes in at 1.75 million won, while its 27-inch counterpart is 1.55 million won. The high-performance Odyssey OLED G7 is offered at 1.39 million won.
