Apink celebrates its first married member!
Apink member Yoon Bomi officially tied the knot with renowned composer Rado on May 16th, holding an elegant wedding ceremony at a venue in Seoul. The joyous occasion was officiated by comedian Kim Ki-ri, with heartfelt congratulatory songs performed by Apink, STAYC, and Unchild.
The couple’s journey began in 2016 when they collaborated on Apink’s hit title track, ‘Only One’ (내가 설렐 수 있게), a project that brought them closer. Their relationship officially blossomed in 2017, and they made their romance public in 2024, garnering much support from fans.
The wedding day itself became a viral sensation as guests shared glimpses of the beautiful ceremony online. A particular highlight was the undeniable bond and enduring friendship among the Apink members, who have performed together for years. During one of the emotional congratulatory songs, fellow member Oh Ha-young was seen shedding tears, creating a truly touching and memorable moment.

Adding to the emotional atmosphere, Apink leader Park Cho-rong, who delivered a heartfelt congratulatory speech, also found herself overwhelmed with emotion. She confessed, “This is the first time I’ve ever given a congratulatory speech in my life, and I agonized so much over what words of congratulations to share after Bomi asked me.” Her poignant words and tears further emphasized the deep sisterly bond within the group.
Notably, even original member Hong Yoo-kyung, who departed from the group in 2013, attended the ceremony to warmly support Yoon Bomi’s significant new chapter. However, Son Na-eun, who left Apink in 2022 to pursue an acting career, was not observed among the guests.
Born in 1993, Yoon Bomi and Rado, born in 1984, share a 9-year age difference. Their enduring 9-year relationship culminated in marriage, officially making Yoon Bomi the first member of Apink to get married.
Prior to the ceremony, Yoon Bomi personally shared her joyous news with fans, known as ‘PANDAs,’ through a heartfelt handwritten letter posted on her official fan cafe. In her message, she stated, “After sharing our daily lives for a long time, and being together through both joyful and challenging moments, I have decided to spend the rest of my life with this special person. Moving forward, both as a member of Apink and as Yoon Bomi, I promise to reciprocate ‘PANDAs” unwavering support with even greater activities.”
