Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation for May 2026
IVE member Jang Wonyoung once again shined with her unparalleled presence, ranking first in the May 2026 Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation rankings.
According to the comprehensive big data analysis for the May 2026 Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung secured the top spot, followed by BLACKPINK’s Jennie in second place, and aespa’s Karina in third.
The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation meticulously analyzed the brand reputation index for 730 individual girl group members from April 17, 2026, to May 17, 2026. This extensive analysis involved extracting 97,114,770 pieces of brand big data and calculating scores based on four key metrics: participation index, media index, communication index, and community index. Compared to April’s big data volume of 104,295,585 for individual girl group members, the total volume observed this month decreased by 6.89%.
The brand reputation index serves as a crucial metric designed to reflect how consumers’ online habits significantly influence brand consumption and public perception. This latest analysis incorporated various factors, including positive and negative evaluations of brands, overall media interest, consumer engagement and communication volume, and comprehensive brand value assessments.
For May 2026, the top 30 individual girl group brand reputations featured prominent figures such as IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, aespa’s Karina, IVE’s An Yujin, and BLACKPINK’s Lisa, among other popular K-pop idols.


IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who impressively secured the first position, recorded a robust brand reputation index of 6,715,647. Her high scores were attributed to a participation index of 1,244,343, a media index of 1,151,313, a communication index of 1,573,710, and a community index of 2,746,281. Despite her leading position, this figure represents a 7.06% decrease compared to her April brand reputation index of 7,226,014.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie, holding the second rank, registered a brand reputation index of 4,745,164. This marks an 11.68% decline from her April score of 5,372,851. Similarly, aespa’s Karina, who took third place, achieved a brand reputation index of 4,487,074, reflecting a 9.60% drop from her April index of 4,963,822.
Goo Chang-hwan, director of the Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, commented, “The big data analysis for the May 2026 Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation clearly shows IVE’s Jang Wonyoung maintaining her top position. When we delve into the overall girl group individual brand category, we observed a 6.89% decrease in big data volume compared to April’s 104,295,585 data points. A more detailed breakdown of the analysis reveals specific trends: brand consumption experienced a 4.26% decrease, brand issues saw a slight 0.63% increase, brand communication declined by 8.85%, and brand spread decreased by 9.04%.”
He further elaborated, “For IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, who dominated the May 2026 Girl Group Individual Brand Reputation, our link analysis highlighted strong associations with terms like ‘sexy,’ ‘advertising,’ and ‘modeling.’ Concurrently, keyword analysis prominently featured unique phrases such as ‘Bang Bang,’ ‘Lucky Vicky,’ and ‘Wonyoung’s thought process (Wonyoungjeok Sago).’ The positive-negative ratio analysis further affirmed her strong public image, indicating an impressive 91.53% positive sentiment.”
