Global sensation Tomorrow X Together (TXT) has proudly earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) for their latest eighth EP, “7th Year: A Moment of Stillness in the Thorns.” Their agency, Big Hit Music, announced this significant achievement on Friday.
This marks the ninth time a release from the acclaimed K-pop boy group has certified platinum in Japan, signifying outstanding sales with over 250,000 units shipped across the country.
The successful mini-album has also soared to the top of Oricon’s Daily, Weekly, and Weekly Combined Album Rankings in Japan. Remarkably, on the Weekly Combined chart, TXT tied a monumental record for the most albums to achieve this feat, with an impressive total of 14 releases.
In celebration of their seventh anniversary, the beloved five-member group is set to embark on an exciting tour across four major Japanese cities. The highly anticipated concert series will commence in Nagoya on May 23, followed by captivating performances in Funabashi, Fukuoka, and Kobe, promising an unforgettable experience for their dedicated fanbase.
