Global K-pop sensation Jungkook of BTS has achieved another milestone, being selected as the subject of a US educational book series designed for elementary school students. This groundbreaking inclusion makes him the first Korean singer to be featured in such a publication.
Publisher Capstone confirmed that Jungkook will be a prominent figure in the 2026 edition of their “Brain Candy Books” series. This esteemed series aims to introduce influential public figures and their inspiring stories to young readers through engaging and accessible educational content.
The “Brain Candy Books” series boasts a history of featuring internationally renowned personalities, including music icons like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and Billie Eilish, alongside sports legends such as Lionel Messi. Capstone also plans to include other global stars like Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, and Cristiano Ronaldo in upcoming editions, further highlighting the significance of Jungkook’s selection.
Capstone revealed that the educational book dedicated to Jungkook will delve into various aspects of his life, covering his childhood, his remarkable musical journey with BTS, and his personal philosophy. The company lauded Jungkook as one of BTS’s defining figures, emphasizing his exceptional vocal abilities and impressive versatility as an artist.
The book is set to highlight key achievements in Jungkook’s illustrious career, such as becoming the first Korean solo artist to successfully chart seven songs on Billboard’s Hot 100. It will also commemorate his iconic performance of the official soundtrack “Dreamers” at the opening ceremony of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Furthermore, the publication is expected to explore Jungkook’s broader cultural impact, from his viral reputation for selling out products he wears to his powerful and extensive presence across major social media platforms.
Adding to his global accolades, Jungkook was separately recognized in the “25 Most Famous People in the World” global ranking by World Famous Things in February 2026. As the sole K-pop artist on this prestigious list, his inclusion underscored his immense global influence, powerful vocals, and highly successful solo career. Other notable figures alongside him included Elon Musk, Taylor Swift, and former US President Donald Trump.
Currently, Jungkook is touring with BTS on the North American leg of the group’s highly anticipated “Arirang” world tour. Fans can look forward to their next three performances scheduled for Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday in Mexico City.
