BTS’s Jimin kicked off the North American leg of the tour, showcasing impeccable stage presence and delivering dazzling performances that captivated audiences.
The “BTS World Tour ‘Arirang’ in Tampa” concerts were successfully held on April 26th and 27th at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, marking a spectacular opening for the ‘Arirang’ World Tour’s North American segment.
Jimin, with his now-trademark long blonde hair flowing, appeared on stage radiating a god-like aura. For the opening songs ‘Hooligan’ and ‘Run BTS,’ he unveiled new, slightly lighter outfits compared to his previous “Northern Grand Duke” ensembles, commanding the stage with his flawless dance lines.

Notably, fancam videos featuring Jimin’s captivating free dance during the choreography-free ‘FYA’ performance quickly garnered millions of views, setting social media ablaze. On the second day, he further enchanted fans with his iconic body roll choreography during an impromptu ‘Pied Piper’ stage.
During the first day’s concert, a heartwarming moment went viral online when a young fan wearing a custom T-shirt that read ‘Jimin My name is Jimin too!’ was captured on camera. Jimin himself shared the video on social media with a “Love u” caption, showcasing his warm interaction with fans.

Throughout both days of the concert, every time Jimin appeared on the screen, continuous cheers erupted from the packed Tampa Stadium, proving his immense popularity, affectionately dubbed “Jimmerica” (Jimin + America). Immediately after the concerts, he dominated U.S. trends, becoming the most trended male individual within the X (formerly Twitter) Music category. Fans universally praised his overwhelming stage presence, declaring, “Jimin stole the show.”
The Tampa concerts concluded with the performance on April 28th, and the North American tour will continue on May 2nd-3rd at the Sun Bowl Stadium in El Paso.
