Pop star Katy Perry has once again been accused of sexual misconduct.
U.S. entertainment news outlet Page Six revealed an interview with model Josh Kloss on the 24th.
Kloss stated that he became acquainted with Perry after appearing in the music video for her 2010 hit song ‘Teenage Dream,’ and two years later, he was invited to a birthday party for Perry’s stylist.
However, Kloss alleged, “When I was introducing a friend at the party, Perry pulled down my pants, exposing my genitalia.”
He continued, “I was completely terrified, but Perry just laughed. I want to make this clear. Some people might think pulling down someone’s pants at a party is a joke, but it was nothing like that. I felt utterly humiliated.”
He added, “Since this incident, where my genitalia was exposed without my consent, I have lived with unspeakable trauma.”
Kloss had previously made similar claims on Instagram in August 2019, but Perry’s stylist refuted them, stating, “That’s ridiculous. Katy would never do such a thing.”
Kloss stated that he decided to speak out again recently after actress Ruby Rose raised similar sexual assault allegations against Perry. Kloss commented, “It was undeniable trauma. I cannot be grateful for an act that belittled and humiliated me simply because the star who made me public was involved.”
In response, Perry’s acquaintances have countered, “Katy is not that kind of person.”
Kloss reiterated that he gained the courage to speak out again after seeing Australian actress Ruby Rose step forward with her own claims of sexual harassment by Perry. He stated, “I felt it was important to be brave, show my face, and state my position.”
Rose claimed on SNS on the 13th that “Perry sexually assaulted me at a club in Melbourne, Australia. Perry approached and inappropriately rubbed her body against mine.” She added, “I was only in my early twenties at the time. Now I am 40, and it has taken me almost 20 years to speak about this publicly.”
Regarding this, Perry’s spokesperson stated, “Rose’s allegations are demonstrably false. Rose has a history of making serious accusations against various individuals on social media, and the parties involved in those claims have repeatedly denied them.”
Perry reportedly broke up with Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom last year and is currently in a public relationship with former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
