Galaxy Corp., the agency managing K-pop superstar G-Dragon, has swiftly denied recent reports claiming that EXO’s Baekhyun had joined their roster.
These reports, which emerged on Wednesday from local media outlets, suggested that Baekhyun was nearing the final stages of signing an exclusive contract with the high-profile agency.
Earlier in April, Baekhyun, alongside his fellow EXO members Chen and Xiumin (collectively known as CBX), reportedly informed their current agency, INB100, of the termination of their existing contracts. Baekhyun himself had established INB100 in 2024, following CBX’s departure from long-time label SM Entertainment.
Just months after its founding, INB100 was subsequently absorbed by One Hundred, an entertainment conglomerate that has recently seen a significant exodus of its represented artists. The company, One Hundred, has faced serious accusations of artist exploitation and alleged non-payment.
Since their initial departure, CBX has remained embroiled in ongoing legal disputes with SM Entertainment. These unresolved issues regrettably led to all three members being unable to participate in EXO’s eighth studio album, which was released in January, or the subsequent tour, which commenced earlier this month in Seoul.
