JobKorea has firmly established itself as South Korea’s premier recruitment platform, achieving the highest number of monthly active users (MAU) among all major hiring services during the first half of the year.
Citing robust data from mobile analytics firm Mobile Index, JobKorea recorded an impressive cumulative 10.86 million monthly active users over the six-month period. This performance places it significantly ahead of its key competitors, including Saramin with 9.79 million, Remember at 4.83 million, Incruit with 870,000, and Wanted at 480,000 MAU, underscoring its dominant market leadership.
Beyond active users, JobKorea also led the market in new app downloads, attracting approximately 1.49 million installs in the first half. In comparison, Saramin saw 770,000 new downloads, while Remember recorded 240,000. Notably, JobKorea was the only full-time recruitment platform to exceed 1 million downloads during this period, showcasing its strong appeal to job seekers across the nation.
This consistent market dominance is part of a broader trend; JobKorea has maintained its top position in both monthly active users and app downloads for an impressive 21 consecutive months, a streak commencing in October 2024.
JobKorea attributes its remarkable growth to the surging demand for convenient mobile-based job searches and applications, coupled with the enhanced services stemming from its strategic integration into the Worksphere Group. This integration has expanded JobKorea’s offerings, now providing a comprehensive career ecosystem alongside Albamon and JobPlanet, which includes recruitment solutions, detailed company reviews, and valuable career information.
Furthermore, the platform credits its cutting-edge AI-powered recruitment services for significantly boosting user engagement and successful job placements. Following a strategic redesign of its homepage, prominently featuring its innovative AI Recommendation 3.0 feature, JobKorea observed an astounding increase of over 70 percent in job applications submitted through the platform compared with 2023, testament to its advanced AI capabilities.
Looking to the future, JobKorea is committed to further strengthening its AI- and data-driven recruitment services. These advancements are designed to deliver even more precise job matching capabilities and provide highly personalized career recommendations, reinforcing its commitment to innovation and leadership in the South Korean job market.
