Otoki Leverages Ulsan Logistics Hub for Export Capacity Expansion
Otoki’s new logistics center in Ulsan (Otoki)

South Korean food giant Otoki has officially opened its advanced automated logistics center in Ulsan, southeastern Korea, signaling a strategic move to bolster its global supply chain amid soaring international demand for its diverse range of products.

This cutting-edge, five-story facility in Ulsan is engineered for peak efficiency, boasting storage capacity for nearly 10,000 pallets. It is meticulously designed to manage the entire logistics spectrum, from inbound receiving and outbound dispatch to precise labeling and streamlined order picking. Integrated with sophisticated warehouse management (WMS) and control systems (WCS), the center is set to significantly reduce processing times and elevate operational accuracy, reinforcing Otoki’s commitment to optimized distribution.

The inauguration of this state-of-the-art logistics hub strategically aligns with Otoki’s aggressive overseas expansion initiatives, positioning the company for substantial growth in global markets.

Otoki has set an ambitious target of achieving 1.1 trillion won ($714 million USD) in international revenue by 2030. Further solidifying its global footprint, the company is actively preparing for the construction of its inaugural North American manufacturing facility in California, which will substantially enhance its presence across the United States market.

Demonstrating robust performance, Otoki reported an operating profit of 59.4 billion won in the first quarter, marking a 3.3 percent increase year-over-year. During the same period, international revenue surged by 9.6 percent, contributing significantly to 11.5 percent of the company’s total revenue.

“This facility provides the essential infrastructure to meet the rapidly growing export demand for Otoki products with enhanced efficiency and reliability,” a company official stated. “We are dedicated to continuously building a resilient operational framework capable of stably supporting increasing export volumes and our global expansion goals.”
