Coupang Launches Rocket Delivery Disaster Response Program

Coupang has officially launched its impactful disaster response program, leveraging its cutting-edge Rocket Delivery logistics network to provide rapid emergency aid across the nation. Interim CEO Harold Rogers recently visited Coupang’s advanced fulfillment center in Sejong City to inaugurate this crucial initiative.

This pioneering program maintains a constant reserve of 2,500 meticulously assembled relief kits, poised for immediate deployment whenever disasters strike. Each comprehensive kit contains ten essential items from Coupang’s private label CPLB line, including vital supplies such as comfortable bedding, soft towels, personal toiletries, and practical foldable mattresses, ensuring immediate comfort and support for those affected.

The strategic selection of the Sejong facility was paramount, specifically chosen for its optimal geographic location and its proven ability to facilitate swift and efficient distribution to disaster-hit regions throughout the country.

“We are committed to fulfilling our social responsibility by repurposing our robust Rocket Delivery system, originally designed for unparalleled customer service, to powerfully support critical emergency disaster relief efforts,” stated Harold Rogers, emphasizing Coupang’s dedication to community welfare.
