His responsibilities will encompass crucial business areas including overseas accommodations, comprehensive package tours, diverse tours and activities, and efficient airline operations. He is tasked with strengthening cross-business synergies, optimizing operational efficiency, enhancing product competitiveness, and leading the formulation of robust mid- to long-term global growth strategies for the expanding travel platform.
Libutzki brings an impressive and extensive track record to Nol Universe, marked by significant leadership roles in the online travel industry. He was notably an early and key member at Agoda, where he served as Associate Vice President. During his tenure, he was instrumental in overseeing business development across vital regions including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and India. He played a crucial role in establishing Agoda’s direct contracting system, successfully securing over 150,000 directly contracted properties throughout the Asia-Pacific region within a remarkable seven-year period.
His expertise further extends to spearheading global expansion initiatives at European travel-tech innovator Tourlane, where he championed the digitalization and AI-driven transformation of booking and supply systems. Subsequently, as Vice President at the prominent Canadian travel platform Hopper, he expertly oversaw product supply operations across the dynamic Asia-Pacific market, demonstrating his deep understanding of diverse international travel landscapes.
This strategic appointment by Nol Universe reflects its strong push to capitalize on the surging demand for inbound travel to Korea.
