Studying at Starbucks? Now Officially Productive! Starbucks Korea Launches ‘Focus Zones’

Starbucks Korea has officially unveiled its innovative “Focus Zones,” dedicated seating areas meticulously designed for students and professionals seeking a productive environment. Introduced on Thursday, these specialized zones are strategically located near universities, making them ideal for individual study sessions or collaborative work for up to two people. This strategic initiative underscores the coffee chain’s broader vision to reposition its popular coffee shops as premium spaces for concentration and productivity, moving beyond mere coffee consumption. Following a successful pilot program that began in August last year, these purpose-built zones, thoughtfully separated from general seating areas, are now being rolled out. Currently, six Starbucks locations are equipped with these new Focus Zones, with further expansion anticipated.
