Citibank Korea and Citigroup Global Markets Securities Korea have been recognized with four prestigious accolades at The Asset Triple A Awards 2026, highlighting Citi’s strong performance and leadership in sustainable finance, commercial banking, and advisory services within the Korean market.
Citibank Korea secured the titles of Best Bank for Sustainable Finance and Best Commercial Bank, while Citigroup Global Markets Securities Korea was honored as Best Corporate and Institutional Adviser and Best Equity Adviser, according to the companies’ announcement on Thursday.
The Asset, a renowned regional financial publication, emphasized that this year’s awards celebrated institutions that demonstrated exceptional support for corporate clients navigating economic uncertainties and market volatility throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Citibank Korea’s recognition stems from its dedication to facilitating Korean companies’ international endeavors through cross-border financing solutions, robust risk management strategies, and comprehensive treasury services, leveraging Citi’s extensive global network. The bank’s structured finance expertise, including export credit agency financing, and its advisory role in assisting clients with regulatory compliance, particularly in response to the US Inflation Reduction Act, were also key factors in the award.
