Korean Air has announced an extension to the suspension of its Incheon (ICN) to Dubai (DXB) flights, now lasting through April 19th, due to the continuing military conflict in the Middle East.
Flights KE951 and KE952, operating between Incheon, South Korea, and Dubai, United Arab Emirates, have been halted since February 28th. On that date, Korean Air rerouted flight KE951 back to Incheon and canceled flight KE952 following reported US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran.
Initially, the Incheon-Dubai route suspension was scheduled to end on March 28th. However, Korean Air has decided to extend the suspension period given the evolving geopolitical situation.
The airline stated that a decision regarding the resumption of Incheon-Dubai flights after April 19th will be made based on a comprehensive assessment of the ongoing situation and safety considerations.
