HD Construction Equipment announced on Wednesday that they are hosting the “Operator Challenge” at Conexpo-Con/Agg 2026, the premier construction trade show in North America, taking place this week in Las Vegas.
The interactive event, held at the company’s exhibition booth throughout the week, allows attendees to experience the capabilities of their new HX19E mini electric excavator.
In the Operator Challenge, participants will test their skills by using the HX19E excavator to precisely place three balls into designated holes. The operator with the fastest time each day will be awarded a $1,000 cash prize.
The HX19E boasts a 40 kWh battery, the largest in its class, enabling over 10 hours of operation on a single charge, according to the company. This zero-emission excavator operates without exhaust gas and generates minimal noise, making it ideal for both indoor and outdoor construction sites where stringent environmental regulations are increasingly common.
HD Construction Equipment aims to boost brand awareness in the North American market through this engaging event, as demand for compact electric construction equipment continues to rise.
“We designed this event to provide visitors with a hands-on experience of our cutting-edge equipment,” stated an HD Construction Equipment official. “Alongside the HX19E, next-generation models from both Hyundai and Develon will spearhead our expansion efforts in the North American market.”
At Conexpo 2026, HD Construction Equipment showcased nine next-generation models, marking its first major global product unveiling since consolidating its construction equipment brands.
