The Korea Enterprises Federation (KEF) announced the release of its English-language booklet, “2026 Business Environment and Labor Market in Korea,” on Wednesday. This publication aims to improve the global understanding of Korea’s evolving economic landscape and labor policies.
The booklet offers a comprehensive analysis of Korea’s key economic and labor regulations, outlines current policy directions, and presents up-to-date statistical data. KEF developed this resource to assist international organizations, foreign business associations, and foreign-invested companies in navigating and understanding the Korean market.
KEF has distributed the booklet to approximately 250 organizations globally. These include prominent international bodies such as the OECD and the International Labor Organization, as well as foreign business groups located in the US, Japan, China, and the EU.
Global think tanks have also received the publication, including the World Economic Forum, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), and the Heritage Foundation.
In an accompanying letter, KEF Chairman Sohn Kyung-shik expressed his aspiration that the booklet will enhance comprehension of Korea’s business environment and labor market dynamics. He hopes this will contribute to stable corporate operations and encourage continued investment within the country.
