LG Innotek, a leading electronic component manufacturer within the LG Group, announced a strategic partnership with Applied Intuition, a prominent U.S.-based software company, to accelerate advancements in physical artificial intelligence (AI).
This collaboration aims to enhance LG Innotek’s camera modules, radar technology, and LiDAR (light detection and ranging) sensors, which are integral to the development of physical AI products. The partnership leverages Applied Intuition’s expertise in self-driving systems to achieve these advancements, according to an LG Innotek press release.
Specifically, LG Innotek’s cutting-edge components will be integrated into Applied Intuition’s autonomous vehicle development platform. This integration will provide valuable feedback and real-world data, facilitating continuous improvement and refinement of the components’ performance in autonomous driving applications.

Applied Intuition currently serves 18 of the world’s top 20 automotive manufacturers, providing them with state-of-the-art self-driving software and comprehensive simulation tools for autonomous vehicle development and validation.
