Baemin, South Korea’s leading food delivery app, is launching a special support program for local cafes in Seoul to coincide with “BTS The City Arirang Seoul,” a city-wide celebration of the K-pop group’s activities.
“BTS The City Arirang Seoul” is a large-scale event taking place throughout the city from [Start Date] to April 19th. The event promises a variety of attractions, including exhibitions, shopping experiences, curated food events, dazzling media facades, drone light shows, and musical light installations integrated into Seoul’s iconic cityscape.
Baemin’s initiative seeks to connect the global BTS fandom with small businesses in the heart of Seoul, boosting local economies through increased foot traffic and sales during the event.
The support program will run from April 6th to April 19th, focusing on small cafe owners listed on the Baemin app primarily located in the Seochon and Bukchon areas within the Jongno and Jung districts.
As part of the program, Baemin will provide participating cafes with recipes for exclusive, limited-edition beverages inspired by the BTS-themed event. The company will also supply all the necessary ingredients and supplies to create these unique drinks, completely free of charge. Additionally, Baemin will offer customized preparation guidelines tailored to the operational needs of smaller cafes.
To create a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for fans, participating stores will receive promotional items such as branded drink sleeves and official posters to decorate their establishments.
Throughout the event, Baemin will also feature pickup discount promotions on its platform, offering coupons for participating cafes to encourage in-store visits and drive customer orders.
“We are committed to pursuing innovative and mutually beneficial initiatives that allow us to grow alongside our small business partners,” stated Kim Joong-hyun, Head of Sustainability Management at Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baemin.
