BTS Thrilled Gwanghwamun Comeback Show

The globally renowned septet is set to ignite Gwanghwamun Square with a highly anticipated performance this Saturday at 8 p.m. to celebrate the release of their new album, “Arirang.”

With an expected crowd of approximately 260,000 people converging on the area – significantly exceeding the 22,000 ticket holders – the band is proactively urging fans to prioritize order and safety.

“Given the large number of attendees, we kindly request everyone to enjoy the show in a safe manner,” leader RM shared on the K-pop fan community platform Weverse. “Please adhere to the instructions provided by staff and security personnel. We firmly believe that mutual respect and consideration among fans will contribute to a more enjoyable and successful performance.”

He added: “We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated police officers, firefighters, and officials from both central and local authorities, as well as all individuals working diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone.”

Jin, the eldest member, also expressed his gratitude, writing, “Thanks to the invaluable assistance and unwavering support of numerous individuals, we are privileged to host our comeback show at Gwanghwamun.”

“It is truly an honor to reconnect with everyone in such a significant location, and we are deeply thankful to all who have contributed and shown understanding.” He continued, “We are committed to delivering an exceptional performance, and we kindly request that everyone on-site prioritizes their safety.”
