LG CNS announced a strategic partnership with Palantir, a leading US AI software company, on Wednesday, aimed at accelerating AI transformation initiatives for enterprises.
The announcement was made ahead of Palantir’s AIPCon event. LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-gyoon and Palantir CEO Alex Karp, along with other key executives from both organizations, attended the partnership signing.
Palantir specializes in enterprise data and AI platforms. Their offerings include Foundry, designed for integrating and analyzing large-scale corporate data, and the Artificial Intelligence Platform (AIP), which combines generative AI with unified data environments to facilitate real-time decision-making.
The partnership will see LG CNS establishing a dedicated Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team. This team will be responsible for managing projects and implementing Palantir solutions across various industries.
Working closely with Palantir, the FDE unit will focus on identifying and executing high-impact AI transformation projects in key sectors such as manufacturing, energy, electronics, and distribution.
LG CNS also plans to tailor Palantir’s platforms to meet the specific needs of Korean corporate clients. The company will initially focus on LG Group affiliates, which are already exploring the adoption of these platforms, before extending the services to external clients across diverse industries.
The company has already conducted internal validation of Palantir’s Foundry and AIP platforms. This included building a decision-support framework that integrates Foundry-based data platforms with AIP-powered risk prediction capabilities.
Based on this initial success, LG CNS intends to develop scalable service models to facilitate broader enterprise deployment of Palantir’s solutions.
