The film’s fictional boy group, Saja Boys, ranked fifth with 921 million streams, while K-pop powerhouse BTS, preparing for a full-group comeback this month, landed in tenth place with 892 million streams.
Luminate highlighted that eight out of the top ten most-streamed K-pop acts were artists or groups associated with the film’s original soundtrack, underscoring the film’s widespread global appeal.
The company noted that the success of “KPop Demon Hunters” showcased the K-pop industry’s evolution over the last decade. They further emphasized that despite the film being produced in the United States, outside traditional industry channels, both the film and its soundtrack achieved remarkable success.
