Hyundai Engineering & Construction has announced renewed interest in its Hillstate Pyeongtaek Station Central City development, as Pyeongtaek’s real estate market shows signs of revitalization fueled by Samsung Electronics’ semiconductor expansion plans.
The resurgence of interest follows Samsung Electronics’ late-year confirmation to resume construction of its fifth semiconductor fabrication line, P5, at its Pyeongtaek Campus in Gyeonggi Province. This expansive facility, slated for completion in 2028, is projected to bolster the production of advanced AI semiconductors and high-value memory. This significant investment has positively impacted the local housing market, with key indicators demonstrating increased demand.
Situated in Hapjeong-dong, Pyeongtaek, the Hillstate Pyeongtaek Station Central City complex will feature 14 residential towers, each comprising three basement levels and rising up to 35 stories, for a total of 1,918 residential units.
The development boasts a strategic location near major industrial hubs, including the Samsung chip campus, Songtan Industrial Complex, Chilgoe Industrial Complex, and the Pyeongtaek Integrated Logistics Complex – all significant employment centers expected to drive housing demand in the area.
Convenient transportation options are readily available, with Pyeongtaek Station within easy walking distance, providing access to Seoul Subway Line 1. A short one-stop ride connects residents to Pyeongtaek Jije Station, offering SRT access to Suseo in approximately 40 minutes.
Residents will benefit from well-established commercial and lifestyle infrastructure, including AK Plaza, Pyeongtaek Central Market, and the Express Bus Terminal. Families will appreciate the proximity to educational institutions such as Hapjeong Elementary School, Pyeongtaek High School, Hangwang High School, and Pyeongtaek Meister High School.
The Hillstate Pyeongtaek Station Central City complex will offer a range of community amenities, including a fitness center, indoor golf range, sauna, study rooms, a library, and a day care center. The project will provide 1.5 parking spaces per unit, as well as individual storage space.
The model home is located in Hapjeong-dong, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, and occupancy is scheduled for January 2028.
