BLACKPINK is back! Their new project, spearheaded by the title track “Go,” marks the K-pop quartet’s highly anticipated return since their 2022 full-length album, “Born Pink,” which achieved global success, topping the U.S. Billboard 200 and the British Official Albums Chart Top 100.
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK’s agency, the five-track album, released at 2 p.m., explores themes of confidence, growth, and unity through a blend of EDM, hip-hop, and pop influences.
The lead single “Go” boasts powerful sound production and a captivating chant-driven hook. The album also features the prereleased track “Jump,” the retro hip-hop infused “Me and My,” the anthemic “Champion,” and “Fxxxboy,” a track described as more subtle and emotionally resonant.
Since kicking off album promotions on February 15th, BLACKPINK’s YouTube channel has seen significant growth, gaining an average of 10,000 new subscribers daily, as reported by YG. The group recently achieved a major milestone, becoming the first artist to surpass 100 million subscribers on the global video-sharing platform.
“Despite a demanding schedule due to their large-scale world tour, BLACKPINK dedicated substantial time and effort to perfecting this album,” the agency stated. “We are confident that the final product showcases both the individual musical talents of the members and their exceptional synergy as a group.”
