Veluga, a leading South Korean enterprise AI platform provider, announced on Thursday a surge in the adoption of its AI solutions within public institutions and educational organizations. This growth is driven by an evolving demand, shifting focus from basic chatbot capabilities to comprehensive workflow automation solutions.

Initially, Veluga’s solutions were primarily utilized for simple question-and-answer services. However, recent implementations now support more sophisticated administrative processes, including internal regulation management, academic administration tasks, and efficient handling of civil complaints.

Public agencies and educational institutions often grapple with extensive regulations and guidelines, which can create operational inefficiencies as limited staff resources are tasked with managing repetitive inquiries.

To overcome these challenges, Veluga leverages retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology. This advanced AI approach generates accurate and reliable responses based on an organization’s internal knowledge base. Veluga has optimized its search architecture specifically for the Korean language, enabling it to precisely interpret complex administrative terminology and regulatory documents. This ensures that all AI-generated answers are firmly rooted in verifiable and trustworthy sources.

Beyond traditional chatbot functionalities, Veluga has expanded its platform to automate complete end-to-end workflows, encompassing everything from document retrieval to efficient task execution. The system also provides users with real-time monitoring capabilities, allowing them to track operational status effectively.

Within the education sector, Veluga’s platform is being deployed as intelligent AI tutors. These tutors provide students with tailored course materials, announcements, and assignment guidance, catering to individual learning needs and contexts. In public agencies, the technology facilitates standardized responses to civil inquiries, drawing directly from official documents. This promotes consistency and accuracy across different departments.

“AI adoption in the public and education sectors has matured beyond the experimental phase,” stated Lee Sang-yeon, Chief Executive Officer of Veluga. “Our goal is to establish Veluga as the premier AI transformation platform, delivering tangible impact by seamlessly integrating into real-world operational environments.”
