BTS Arirang World Tour Sells Out: North America, Europe

SEOUL, Jan. 27 (Yonhap) — BTS’s highly anticipated “Arirang” world tour has officially sold out across North America and Europe, according to an announcement from their agency, BigHit Music, on Tuesday.

Tickets for all 41 concerts scheduled in these regions were quickly snatched up after going on sale Saturday, highlighting the immense global anticipation for BTS’s return and their new album.

The “Arirang” tour, poised to be a landmark event in K-pop history, will commence on April 9 at Goyang Sports Complex near Seoul. This massive world tour will encompass 34 cities and feature a total of 79 shows. BigHit Music has revealed that the tour will incorporate a 360-degree stage design, promising fans a more immersive and engaging concert experience.

The North American leg of the “Arirang” tour is slated to begin on April 25 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. BTS will then perform in 12 cities throughout North America before heading to Europe for a series of 10 shows in five major cities.

Due to unprecedented demand, BigHit Music confirmed that additional concert dates have been added in Tampa, Stanford, and Las Vegas, offering more fans the opportunity to see BTS live.

In anticipation of the world tour, BTS will release their fifth full-length studio album, titled “Arirang,” on March 20. This 14-track album marks their first musical release since “Proof” in June 2022 and is also significant as the first release since all members completed their mandatory military service.

To celebrate the album launch, BTS will host a highly anticipated comeback concert at Gwanghwamun Square in the heart of Seoul on March 21. This event is expected to draw massive crowds and generate significant buzz.
