SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Yonhap) — Stray Kids’ iconic 2020 track, “God’s Menu,” has surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, JYP Entertainment announced Thursday, marking a monumental achievement as the first fourth-generation K-pop boy band to reach this milestone.
The groundbreaking lead single from Stray Kids’ first full-length album was crafted by 3Racha, the group’s talented in-house production team comprised of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han. “God’s Menu” solidified the eight-member group’s reputation with its addictive hook, unique lyrics, and innovative performance elements, propelling their global success. This achievement makes them a leading K-pop group worldwide.
Just last Thursday, Stray Kids graced the stage at Le Gala des Pieces Jaunes (Yellow Coins Gala) in Paris, a prestigious charity event held at Paris La Defense Arena. They shared the spotlight with renowned artists such as G-Dragon, Christina Aguilera, and A$AP Rocky.
Fans can anticipate seeing Stray Kids at major music festivals later this year. They are slated to headline both New York’s The Governors Ball Music Festival on June 6 and Rock in Rio in Brazil on Sept. 11. Stay tuned for more Stray Kids news and tour dates!
