Samsung Brand Value Reaches $97.4 Billion

Samsung Group’s brand value has ascended to an impressive $97.4 billion this year, positioning it as the eighth most valuable global technology company. This notable achievement was reported by Brand Finance, a leading global brand valuation consultancy.

The latest assessment from Brand Finance indicates an 8.9 percent surge in Samsung’s brand value, up from $89.4 billion in the previous year, demonstrating significant financial growth and market strength.

Despite a slight shift, dropping one position from the prior year, Samsung proudly remains the singular South Korean brand within the top 10 global technology rankings, highlighting its enduring dominance.

Beyond Samsung, other prominent South Korean enterprises also featured in the top 100. SK hynix Inc. advanced one spot, securing the 28th position, reflecting its increasing market influence.

Meanwhile, LG Group experienced a decline of eight places, landing at 44th. Coupang Inc., a US-listed e-commerce giant with over 90 percent of its revenue generated in South Korea, also saw a minor dip, moving one spot down to 49th.

Naver Corp., South Korea’s premier search engine operator, exhibited positive growth, climbing five places to reach the 95th rank globally.

A geographical breakdown of the top 100 reveals the United States leading with 46 brands, followed by China with 25, and Japan with nine, illustrating key centers of global brand power.
