The acclaimed K-pop group’s fifth full-length album has garnered significant international recognition, appearing on several prestigious mid-year lists. Its critical acclaim began with an inclusion by U.S. pop culture outlet Complex on June 12, followed swiftly by Britain’s The Telegraph on June 13, the influential U.S. magazine Rolling Stone on June 15, and British music publication NME on June 16.
Rolling Stone lauded the septet’s comeback, stating, “The biggest news has got to be the return of BTS, who showcased their Korean roots with the excellent Arirang.”
Further cementing their global status, NME hailed BTS as “the biggest boy band in the world,” while The Telegraph proudly labeled the group “the face of K-pop.”
The septet recently electrified fans with two spectacular concerts in Busan, South Korea, on June 12-13, marking the successful start of their “Arirang” world tour. Looking ahead, BTS is scheduled to kick off the highly anticipated European leg of the tour in Madrid on June 26-27, with an expansive itinerary of 10 shows planned across five major cities.
