Kumho Tire prominently showcased its cutting-edge premium and advanced future mobility tire technologies at the world’s premier tire exhibition in Germany, reinforcing its strategic ambition to significantly grow its presence across the European market.

This leading South Korean tire manufacturer actively participated in The Tire Cologne 2026, held from June 9-11 in Cologne, Germany, as announced by Kumho.

Adopting this year’s compelling theme, “Innovation to Build the Future,” Kumho unveiled an extensive portfolio of products. This included its high-performance range with ultra-high-performance tires like the ECSTA Sport S, ECSTA Sport, and ECSTA HS52; the robust WinterCraft WP52+ winter tire; specialized all-season tires designed for trucks and buses; and groundbreaking futuristic concept models.

Furthermore, Kumho strategically leveraged the exhibition to promote its respected global brand, Marshal. The company intends to cultivate Marshal into a pivotal growth catalyst within the highly competitive European market, aiming to broaden its regional footprint by delivering a diverse array of tire products specifically engineered to meet the unique demands of European drivers.

CEO Jung Il-taik personally attended the prestigious event, engaging with key European customers and valued dealers to deliberate on prevailing market conditions and explore promising avenues for collaboration. He further participated in an exclusive customer reception held at the exhibition, where he warmly greeted partners and fostered insightful discussions with influential industry stakeholders.

“TTC 2026 offered an invaluable opportunity to powerfully showcase Kumho Tire’s advanced technological capabilities and significant brand value on the global stage,” stated CEO Jung. “Our direct communication with customers and partners provided deeper insights into market needs, and we are resolutely committed to consistently driving innovation and providing sustainable mobility solutions as a smart, future-oriented mobility partner.”

Kumho Tire reported overwhelmingly positive feedback throughout the event, with numerous visitors commending the company’s innovative booth design, compelling product presentation, and the exceptional level of technical expertise exhibited by the dedicated on-site team.

“The remarkable level of customer satisfaction expressed throughout the exhibition serves as powerful confirmation of our dedicated efforts in the European market,” commented Lee Gang-seung, Head of Kumho Tire Europe. “We are profoundly grateful for the steadfast trust our partners place in us and are committed to continuously honoring that trust by delivering outstanding service, unwavering reliable support, and products that consistently exceed expectations.”

Building on its success, Kumho Tire achieved its highest-ever annual financial performance last year, notably recording an impressive average annual growth of 20 percent specifically within the European market. Looking ahead, the company is poised to further fortify its European expansion strategy through bespoke research and development initiatives, strategic new plant construction, and sophisticated premium product offerings.
