With South Korea’s vibrant Catholic community actively preparing to host this momentous global youth festival in Seoul in August of next year, anticipation is building for a truly memorable event.
During her discussions, First Lady Kim received detailed briefings on the preparations for World Youth Day 2027 Seoul and listened attentively to valuable suggestions from the participants.
Emphasizing the core spirit of the event, Kim stated, “World Youth Day 2027 is envisioned as a profoundly meaningful festival, bringing together young people from diverse nationalities, languages, and cultures across the globe. It will be a powerful platform for sharing the universal values of peace, hope, and solidarity.”
She further expressed her aspiration for the event to be a warm and welcoming occasion, noting, “I hope South Korea will embrace and welcome young people from around the world as family.”
