Samyang Group has announced a significant strategic move, agreeing to fully acquire Soda Aromatic, a prominent Japanese manufacturer specializing in flavors, fragrances, and fine chemicals. The acquisition is valued at 390 billion won (US$259 million), marking a substantial investment for the Korean conglomerate.
This major investment by Samyang Group, a diversified global conglomerate with a robust business portfolio spanning food, chemicals, biotechnology, and packaging, is set to substantially expand its global business lineup. The strategic integration of Soda Aromatic is expected to bolster Samyang’s presence in high-growth specialty ingredient markets and enhance its offerings across various industries.
