Alibaba.com has officially launched Accio Work in Korea, introducing an innovative AI-powered autonomous business service specifically designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and emerging startups for global market success.

This cutting-edge service, Accio Work, provides a comprehensive, cross-functional team of artificial intelligence agents. These AI agents are engineered to manage every critical aspect of business operations, from thorough market analysis and strategic product planning to efficient sourcing, skilled price negotiation, streamlined product registration, targeted marketing campaigns, and robust store management.

Shawn Yang, Alibaba.com’s General Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, stated at a Seoul press conference that “Accio Work was specifically developed to help Korean SMEs and entrepreneurs seamlessly enter and successfully navigate the global market, equipping them with operational capabilities comparable to much larger corporations.”

Accio Work significantly elevates the level of automation available to SMEs and startups, effectively easing numerous operational challenges. It deploys a customizable fleet of AI agents capable of managing complex tasks such as value-added tax (VAT) filings, tax refunds, and intricate customs documentation, all while expertly overseeing logistics operations.

This initiative comes at a crucial time, reflecting the surging global demand for Korean products. Alibaba.com reported an impressive 18 percent increase in newly registered Korean exporters as of May, compared to last year. Furthermore, inquiries from international buyers seeking Korean sellers skyrocketed by 128 percent within the same period, clearly underscoring the growing international appetite for high-quality Korean goods.

James Zhang, Alibaba.com’s Head of Global Seller Product and Services, highlighted that “Accio Work is engineered to deliver a ‘plug-and-play’ AI team, enabling businesses to execute tasks with greater ease, speed, precision, and overall operational intelligence.”

He elaborated, stating, “Our vision is to fundamentally transform how smaller enterprises compete globally, empowering companies to conduct business with unprecedented speed, make data-driven decisions, and establish a seamless 24-hour operational framework.”

In related news, Alibaba.com also announced the Korean segment of CoCreate Pitch 2026, an exciting AI startup competition built upon the Accio Work platform. This significant competition boasts a total prize pool of 200 million won (approximately $133,000 USD) and will feature categories for general SMEs, emerging startups, and student innovators across Korea.
