Daewoo Engineering & Construction is significantly intensifying its strategic efforts to forge and expand global partnerships within the nuclear power plant sector. This proactive approach aims to bolster its presence and contribute to international nuclear energy development worldwide.
As part of this global initiative, Daewoo E&C CEO Kim Bo-hyun recently undertook a key visit to Vienna, Austria, where he held important discussions with representatives from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on Tuesday. This high-level engagement underscores Daewoo E&C’s commitment to international cooperation and adherence to global nuclear safety standards.
Following his meetings at the IAEA, CEO Kim traveled to Namest nad Oslavou, a city strategically located near the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant project in the Czech Republic. Daewoo E&C plays a pivotal role in this major European nuclear energy initiative, leading the construction of two new reactor units, thereby demonstrating its robust engineering capabilities and expertise in large-scale nuclear infrastructure development.
