K-pop superstar G-Dragon faced significant backlash from global fans after appearing at the K-SPARK music concert in Macau wearing a T-shirt with an inappropriate Dutch phrase.
His agency, Galaxy Corporation, promptly issued a sincere apology, acknowledging the controversial outfit featured an “inappropriate phrase in a social and cultural context.”
Galaxy Corporation emphasized that this incident has highlighted the critical importance of cultural sensitivity and responsibility, committing to a complete overhaul of its internal review procedures.
“We will thoroughly review and improve our overall internal assessment and verification procedures, including in the area of styling, and operate under more prudent standards,” the agency stated, aiming to prevent similar issues in the future.
