"Sold Out on You" Dominates Netflix Non-English Shows Chart

A groundbreaking 12-part Korean drama has achieved significant global success on Netflix, capturing 4.7 million views in the week ending Sunday. This impressive performance made it the most-watched non-English TV series on the platform during that period.

This popular K-drama demonstrated its immense global appeal by ranking in the Top 10 across 42 countries and regions worldwide, securing the coveted No. 1 spot in territories like Taiwan, Guatemala, and Peru.

Headlined by beloved stars Ahn Hyo-seop and Chae Won-bin, this engaging SBS series unfolds a captivating romance. The plot follows Matthew Lee, a meticulous young farmer and natural cosmetics producer, and Dam Ye-jin, an insomniac home shopping host. Their paths intertwine as Dam Ye-jin urgently seeks Lee’s rare ingredients for a crucial business contract.

Beyond this breakout hit, other Korean titles also dominated the Netflix Top 10. The thrilling horror series “Kyrigo” secured the No. 4 spot, while the highly anticipated Season 2 of the intense crime action series “Bloodhounds” landed at sixth. Additionally, the critically acclaimed “Beef” Season 2, featuring stellar performances from South Korean A-list actors Youn Yuh-jung and Song Kang-ho, impressively reached No. 3 within the English show category.

Korean cinematic excellence extended to the film category, with director Ryoo Seung-wan’s gripping action film “Humint” securing the No. 9 position in the non-English film charts.
