Globally recognized South Korean alternative pop band, Leenalchi, is set to embark on an extensive international tour, encompassing over 20 cities across North America and Europe. This highly anticipated tour, confirmed by the band’s agency Hike, will run through November.
The international leg of the tour follows its grand kick-off in Seoul on May 17. This series of performances celebrates the release of the group’s debut global single, “Here Comes That Crow,” which dropped on Tuesday.
“Here Comes That Crow” is characterized by its intricate layered drum rhythms, complemented by dual bass lines, creating a distinctive sound reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s, as described by their agency.
The release marks a significant partnership with Luaka Bop, the renowned indie label established by David Byrne of the iconic band Talking Heads. Notably, Byrne himself is scheduled to visit South Korea in August for his inaugural concert in the country.
Leenalchi first garnered widespread international acclaim with their breakout hit, “Tiger Is Coming.” This track masterfully fuses traditional Korean vocal styles with contemporary musical arrangements. Their impactful “Feel the Rhythm of Korea” video series has amassed an astonishing more than 600 million views, solidifying their global reputation and earning them top honors at the prestigious Korean Music Awards.
Fans can also look forward to their full-length album, “Sugungga,” which was released in November 2025.
