Singer-actor Rain, currently riding a wave of success with Netflix’s ‘Bloodhounds’ Season 2, is now setting his sights on the music scene with a highly anticipated comeback.
Rain’s agency, Rain Company, announced on the 20th that the acclaimed artist will make his musical comeback on May 11th with a new digital single titled ‘FEEL IT (You).’ This highly anticipated return is already generating significant buzz as Rain sheds the raw and intense villainous persona from ‘Bloodhounds Season 2,’ opting instead for a striking transformation that features a meticulously tailored tuxedo visual and his signature relaxed aura.
The new track, ‘FEEL IT (You),’ marks Rain’s debut into a groovy and lighthearted R&B POP sound. This song showcases a refreshing, unexpected charm, diverging completely from his previous performance-heavy, grand stage productions. It’s a piece designed to capture the artist’s inherent comfortable sensibility, perfectly filling moments of everyday leisure.
Notably, the lyrical phrase ‘You’ in the song transcends a singular subject, encompassing all the everyday joys that bring happiness – from the crisp air on the commute home to a casual drink shared with a loved one outdoors. The core message of ‘Fill it up,’ encouraging us to fill our lives with things we cherish, seamlessly connects to the overarching theme of ‘Feel It,’ which urges us to fully embrace the sensations of the present moment. This track is poised to resonate with the public not as a performance aiming to prove something, but as comfortable background music (BGM) perfect for a night drive or a relaxed evening drink.
Rain personally shared his insights into the new release, stating, “While I’ve previously focused on delivering perfectly choreographed performances on stage, this time I wanted to ease up and create music that anyone can comfortably enjoy in their daily routine.” He added, “My hope is that this song becomes a track you can happily groove to on your commute, during a drive, or while enjoying a casual drink outdoors.”
Coinciding with the single’s release, Rain is set to further broaden his extensive artistic spectrum. His upcoming schedule includes a tribute performance at the 2026 Weverse Con Festival in June, followed by a large-scale year-end solo concert planned for the second half of the year.
